In this video, Johnny Harris attempts to visit all 26 Swiss cantons in under 24 hours  using only public transportation, revealing a train system precisely synchronized, like a Swiss watch. A perfect example of how public infrastructure, built with vision and care, can become a form of freedom in itself.

Although I spent quite a bit of time riding the rails in Switzerland, watching this video made me realize that I still haven’t set foot in at least 7 of the nation’s Cantons. I guess it’s time to get a new Swiss railpass and break out the old rucksack.
