Portugal by Design

It’s been way too long since I’ve visited Portugal and these marvelous travel posters have me checking-out airfares. The colorful work is all created by Porto-based artist Rui Ricardo. Along with these marvelous pieces, and other fantastic travel posters for European and Asian destinations, Ricardo has written graphic novels, animated films and designed music videos. You can see more of his travel art at his website and even buy some prints to brighten up your walls.

Really amazing artwork. Thanks for sharing! Portugal has great artists and designers. Unfortunately if you don’t have local connections it may be hard to find them. I’ve been recommending everyone visiting Portugal to use a site like http://www.WiserGo.com to connect with local travel experts. You can design several travel packages with Portuguese agents, select your favorite, they will book everything and provide customer support while you’re in Portugal. Since they are local agents, they know the ins-and-outs of everything and you get to experience the country as a local!
