I was surprised by the number of people who asked why I was returning to Iceland for another visit. Although I’ve tried to adequately answer that question, I think that the short film below provides a much more succinct response. The drone footage was shot by Icelandic photographer Oli Haukur Myrdal over the Reykjanes Peninsula south of Reykjavik.

Spectacular! I think I recognized the stacks off the coast of Vik, which folk lore says are trolls converted to stone by the rising sun. I loved Iceland too and plan to go back!
