This stunning black and white film was based on the Edgar Allan Poe quote “The boundaries which divide life from death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where one ends, and one begins ?” It was created by graphics student Saskia
Kretzschmann on her own over a three month period. The music is by Thomas Mayer.
With over-the-top, Hollywood schlock like The Raven it’s refreshing to see a genuinely artistic take on Poe.
