Neil Gaiman never attended university, but this past weekend he received an honorary degree from the nearby University of the Arts in Philadelphia and spoke at the commencement. The bestselling author of American Gods, Coraline, Stardust, Neverwhere and many more great books encouraged the graduates to make their own art, stay focused, make mistakes and enjoy the ride.
