Here’s a little library trifecta for you:

The British Library has released over one million images into the Public Domain by placing them for all to use for free on the Flickr Commons. The images are taken from digitized books from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, and include maps, photographs, drawings, illustrations, charts, diagrams and much more.
