It was inspired by The Loremen Podcast, which explores forgotten folklore and obscure local curiosities. I may be a geek, but I love playing with this silly tool. Give it a try, you’ll be hooked too.

These are brilliant – I do enjoy finding out about little widgets like this, so thanks for sharing! Another I remember seeing was a tool for calculating a vampire epidemic – you could choose the literary inspiration for the vampires, adjust various parameters and then watch a human/vampire ratio graph play out.
I love the idea of the vampire calculator. Maybe someone could whip one up for zombies too.
