I probably wouldn’t have the heart to cut the old books, but this looks fascinating nevertheless.
As a lifelong book collector and as a book dealer, I’m always ambivalent when it comes to book art.
I hear you… As an artist myself I cringe at the idea of making art out of books. Old books especially. Ok, if it was a question of a new book with a large edition… Hmm, maybe. But old books? I don’t think I could ever harm them.
