If you haven’t seen the new Netflix series Stranger Things, drop everything, skiv off from work, play hooky from school, avoid all responsibilities, and start binge watching. I won’t spoil the experience by commenting on the show’s content. However, I can share the short video below on the clever title typography, which is brilliant on its own merits. Based in Germany, the guide book series currently covers, Berlin, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Paris, London, Barcelona, Ibiza, Lisbon, Milan, Amsterdam, NYC and Los Angeles. It’s great to see a commitment to print travel these days when the whole world is gaga over digital.

This great little video from the clever folks behind the Improvement Pill YouTube channel addresses persistent misconceptions about reading.
The Swiss street artist known as Saype recently completed this enormous “land work” in the mountains outside of Leysin, Switzerland. The piece, which is composed of cut and painted grass, depicts a relaxed man stretched out on a mountainside. Who would’t want to change places with this very contented guy for an afternoon.
The Belgian street artist and graphic designer who goes by the enigmatic moniker Monk HF has been sharing some brutally honest travel posters on social media. The ongoing series challenges travelers to address uncomfortable issues, such as pollution, war, migration, animal exploitation, climate change, and so called “sex tourism”.
I readily admit that I’m a sucker for observation towers, suspended glass walkways, giant wheels, and all manner of tourist traps in the sky. So, the next time that I visit Brighton UK I will spring for a ticket to the new British Airways i360 observation tower.
Situated at the seaside resort city’s West Pier, the i360 was designed by the same folks behind the London Eye wheel. Although this space needle attraction is built around a single pod that will hold up to 200 visitors. A special cable car system drives the observation chamber up and down.
